DXMA7010PP - Aeronautical Porta-Pack Radio
The DXMA-7010PP Millennium VHF Aeronautical Porta-pack Transceiver, like its mobile (MA7010M)
counterpart, is a rugged, state of the art DPS (Digital Signal Processor) based unit, which is designed to meet the existing (US) 25 kHz channel spacing and the 8.33 kHz international requirements in the same unit. The
MA-7010M features full PC programmability via its microphone jack; this includes programming of its operating frequencies, time out timer, personality, priority channels and scan-mode. Modulation and de-modulation circuit is also DPS based in order to provide consistent long-term performance. The unmodulated carrier output is 10 watts typical (7 minimum) and the unit is equipped with high temperature and High VSWR protection. The MA-7010PP features an array of progress and warning tones for the operator’s convenience. The Porta-pack comes standard in a weatherproof carrying case and an 8 amp hour rated gelcell battery and charging system as standard equipment.

The DX 7500 Series Aeronautical Base Stations are rugged, state-of-the-art DSP (Digital Signal Processor)
based units which are designed to meet the existing (US) 25 kHz channel requirements and the new 8.33 kHz
international requirements. These versatile products can be configured as a (direct) locally controlled unit with
(desk) microphone and internal speaker; in this configuration all functions and operation are identical to those
of the 7010 mobile unit, except the power output, which may be 10, 100 or 200 Watts (PEP). The DX 7500 Series Aeronautical Base Station can also be configured as a locally controlled unit with E & M interface or “Tone Remote”.
